Saturday Delivery Option

For many of the items on our site, you'll notice we offer a Saturday Delivery Option. If an item is available for Saturday Delivery, you'll see the 'Saturday Delivery Available' logo appear immediately under the product on the product information page .Saturday Delivery is offered for consumers who place their order on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday or Friday by noon Eastern Time and wish to receive their order on Saturday (instead of Monday as would normally be the case with our Premium shipping option).

Checking Out | Making Your Shipping Selection

When you are ready to check out, you will be presented with the DELIVERY INFORMATION page where you are asked to select your shipping method. If any of the items in your shopping cart are available for Saturday Delivery and your ship to address is eligible for Saturday Delivery, you will be presented with the Saturday Delivery option. Those items in your shopping cart which are available to be shipped via Saturday Delivery are listed immediately below the Saturday Delivery. If some of the items in your cart are not available for Saturday Delivery and you select the Saturday Delivery option, they will be shipped via our Premium shipping option. Saturday Delivery shipments can be made via USPS Express Mail or via United Parcel Service (UPS) -- your choice. The Saturday Delivery option is not available to all areas including Hawaii, Alaska or any of the US Territories.

NOTE: Saturday Delivery is offered for consumers who place their order late Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and wish to receive their order on Saturday (instead of Monday as would normally be the case with our Premium shipping option). Cut off time is 12 noon Eastern Time on Friday for orders to be shipped in time for Saturday delivery. If you place your order on any other day and you select Saturday delivery, it does not mean we will hold the shipment until Friday and ship it for delivery on Saturday. In all cases we ship the order as quickly as possible. We cannot hold orders for delivery sometime in the future.

Important Note on Saturday Delivery Option

We cannot guarantee Saturday Delivery shipments. Our promise is to ship your order via USPS Express Mail or UPS Saturday Delivery / UPS Next Day Air to your ship to address in accordance with the carrier's instructions. We cannot however be responsible for the performance of the carrier should the carrier fail to deliver the package on time for reasons outside our direct control. In situations where we shipped the package on time but the carrier fails to deliver the package on Saturday, we will refund the difference between our Premium and Saturday Delivery shipping options.

What are Christmas Crackers?

In 1847, almost by accident, Tom Smith invented the cracker. it was a simple idea which became an integral part of British celebration and tradition which still continues today, 150 years on. In its simplest form, a cracker is a small cardboard tube covered in a brightly colored twist of paper. When the cracker is pulled by two people, each holding one end of the twisted paper covered tube, the friction creates a small explosive 'pop'. This 'pop' is produced by a narrow strip of chemically impregnated paper. The cracker tears apart and out of the cardboard tube tumbles a bright paper hat, a small gift, a balloon and a motto or joke. It is a running joke that all the jokes and mottos in crackers are unfunny and unmemorable. Similarly, in most standard commercial products, the "gift" is equally awful, although wealthier individuals—notably, the royal family—may use custom crackers with more expensive rewards.

In addition to Christmas Crackers, "Crackers" are used as decorative party favors to celebrate a variety of other special occasions and festive events. The pulling of crackers and donning of the party hats creates a relaxed, festive atmosphere certain to get any party function off the ground.
